Student Support

Woonsocket High School offers a variety of services to help our students succeed. Confidential counseling is available from a variety of school staff and agency representatives to address the many problems students may face. Many high school students experience the breakup of a relationship, pressure from their family, problems related to drinking and drugs, academic failure, disagreements with peers, depression, anxiety, and other stresses. If they are having difficulty in school and feel they need to talk to someone, they are referred to the Student Support Team.

Provides assessment for students and assists them with social and emotional problems. Provides crisis-intervention counseling. Provides specialized help for pregnant/parenting students, their families.
